Saeed Renaud, a singer and vocal coach, came out and delivered his own rendition of “Run To You” by Whitney Houston. Saeed spoke about winning a Grammy on the Lalah Hathaway Live album but now wanted to focus on his own solo career instead of helping develop other artists.

Meghan Trainor said that she lost where she was and that it was just her and Saeed. She called the performance insane. DJ Khaled said that Saeed is securing the bag. DJ said he was out of there if anyone says no. Charlie Walk said that there is a place in the music industry for Saeed.

Sean “Diddy” Combs said thank you for setting the bar and wanted to see a challenge.

All the judges voted yes for Saeed who challenged Blair Perkins.

In their battle, Blair sang “Stay With Me” by Sam Smith and Saeed performed John Newman’s “Love Me Again.” In the end, the audience voted for Saeed who took Blair’s seat to be a new member.
