Sarah Jessica Parker “dying” to make a third “Sex and the City” film to the extent that she would meet with Kim Cattrall is fake news. There is no truth to a report that Parker is looking to keep the franchise alive.
Where did this fake news originate? The National Enquirer published the article that “Desperate Sarah Jessica Parker will do whatever it takes to save ‘Sex and the City’ — even if means meeting with Kim Cattrall, who squashed a third movie.” But, the National Enquirer does not end there with its false information.
The National Enquirer suggested that a “mole” says “Sarah knows the ‘Sex’ franchise is the anchor of all the great opportunities she gets. Another film would breathe new life into the show, and that in turn would bring more opportunities for Sarah.” However, Gossip Cop reported this story as false.
Parker has season two of her HBO series “Divorce” premiering soon. “Divorce” is described as follows:
Raising two children together and sharing more than 10 years of marriage have taken a toll on Frances, who is suddenly reevaluating her life and the strained relationship she has with her husband, Robert. Friends like Diane, who is successful and has no children, and Dallas, who has been both widowed and divorced, make Frances wonder what she’s missed, or is missing. But she soon discovers that making a clean break and starting anew is harder than she thought. “Divorce,” a comedy series co-executive produced and starring Sarah Jessica Parker as Frances, follows a middle-aged couple living in the suburbs of New York City as they grapple with the effects of their failing marriage, not just on themselves, but also on their children and friends, ranging from awkward public encounters to difficult private therapy sessions.
More importantly, Parker told “Entertainment Tonight,” that a third “Sex and the City” film is dead. She said, “Not as far as I can imagine… No, I mean, no. I struggle with it because it’s, you know, it’s a bit sad.”
Cattrall made headlines after she told the Daily Mail that she and her three co-stars were never really friends. “We’ve been colleagues and in some ways, it’s a very healthy place to be because then you have a clear line between your professional life and relationship and your personal,” Cattrall said.
Cattrall also said that her three co-stars, Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, all have children. She is also 10 years older than them that’s why they were never really close to each other.
In Sex and the City, A sex columnist, Carrie Bradshaw, and her three friends — Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda — explore Manhattan’s dating scene, chronicling the mating habits of single New Yorkers. Not surprisingly, the ladies have a number of beaus throughout the series’ run.
