Harpoon Brewery has a new spring seasonal beer for wheat beer lovers. Specifically, UFO Beers is pulling out the red-carpet for a brand-new flavor adventure for spring: UFO Apricadabra.
What can you expect from this seasonal beer? It is an unfiltered wheat beer brewed with fresh apricot puree. What that means is that you will be enjoying the subtle sweet flavor with reminders of the joys of spring. Spring is certainly a magical season as everything is more alive.
UFO gets that and it is the intention of UFO Apricadabra to deliver great taste. UFO Apricadabra is bright and refreshing with a perfect balance of apricot flavor, just right for this invigorating season. The flavor is delicious as apricots deliver on an earthy sweetness that blends well with wheat ale.
One of the juicier Hefeweizens that I have come across. The taste follows the smell, but now becomes more like the apricots expected. This is a little thinner than some of the UFOs but still holds its own. There is a mild tartness that balances well with the sweet. Overall, it was a nice fruit wheat beer.
The 4.8% beer is out now on draft, in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and bottles, and in UFO’s Jet Pack spring sampler 12-pack. The Massachusetts Bay Brewing Company—known for its Harpoon brand—is the 19th largest craft brewery in the U.S., according to the Brewers Association.
A new UFO website chock-full of info about UFO beers, including the new UFO Apricadabra, and food and cocktail recipes that infuse this beer is available at www.ufobeer.com.
