Did The Undertaker Just Announce His Retirement In Return At WWE Raw’s 25th Anniversary?

The Undertaker returned to WWE at Raw’s 25th anniversary. For the first time since Roman Reigns sent him into the great beyond at WrestleMania, The Deadman resurfaced in the site of his Team Red debut in the “sacred ground” of The Manhattan Center to speak on his enduring legacy. But did the Undertaker just announce his retirement or is he setting up a possible match at WrestleMania?

Despite the events of The Showcase of the Immortals, The Undertaker announced his dominance, declaring that all his old foes had “answered to the reaper,” from “Stone Cold” Steve Austin to Mick Foley to Kane. But now, with all his enemies laid in the earth behind him, he declared that it was truly time to rest in peace. Of course, fans on social media were confused as to whether that meant the Deadman was officially retired.

Undertaker said: “The carnage began on this sacred ground of evil 25 years ago. “For 25 years I’ve been digging holes in any person who dared step foot in the dark side. Got buried. “For 25 years I have taken legends and ripped them off their pedestal and thrown them in the cold earth.”

Here are some reactions to The Undertaker’s return at Raw’s 25th anniversary.

First introduced at 1990’s Survivor Series, The Phenom debuted as the final member of Ted DiBiase’s “Million Dollar Team.” It wasn’t long before he began to battle with Hulk Hogan, then at the top of the food chain in WWE. This clash set the tone for Undertaker’s dominant career. No one was too big and no one was safe from his gloved grip.

In the face of all challenges, The Phenom has risen stronger and mightier than ever, serving as sports-entertainment’s grim reaper of justice — his name permanently etched like an epitaph on the history books of WWE. It seems that no grave can hold him, no god will claim him and no devil will have him. In the end, there can only be one suitable resting place for the almighty Deadman: the WWE Hall of Fame.
