Stone Cold Steve Austin delivered more stunners as part of WWE Raw’s 25th Anniversary. The segment opened up with Raw and SmackDown LIVE Commissioners Stephanie and Shane McMahon offering up congratulations to Vince McMahon himself. And, Steve Austin expressed as well his thanks to McMahon.
After the Chairman saw the tribute by his children as insufficient, McMahon proclaimed that he had singlehandedly transformed Raw into an institution and had no one to share the credit with, at which point the glass shattered and his face went white as the Texas Rattlesnake came out to the ring.
McMahon offered up Shane as a victim to the stunner before Stone Cold turned his attention to Vince once again. The Chairman offered Austin a couple of Stevewisers and even managed to secure an embrace with his old enemy before Austin stunned him. Shane McMahon rose and then received another stunner.
This was Austin’s first official appearance on WWE television since showing up alongside Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley to beat up the League of Nations (and Xavier Woods) at WrestleMania in 2016. Of course, this was another classic moment in a long history of them involving Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Austin himself tweeted out: “HellYeah RT @shanemcmahon: Privileged to share the ring with you @SteveAustinBSR and proud to be a part of #Raw25.”

Austin retired from in-ring competition at WrestleMania XIX but continued to make memorable WWE appearances, usually at the expense of the McMahons. WWE crowds were never as loud as when that glass shattered and Stone Cold made his way to the ring, either in his leather boots, a Zamboni or a beer truck.
At the end, his in-ring accomplishments were many: six WWE Championships, two Intercontinental Championships, a record three Royal Rumble victories and Triple Crown Champion credentials. His 2009 induction to the WWE Hall of Fame was a “no-brainer.”
