American Idol: Jurnee Has Arrived In Hollywood With Andra Day ‘Rise Up’ Cover According To Katy Perry

Jurnee, 18, from Denver, came out and performed “Rise Up” by Andra Day for her American Idol audition. Jurnee spoke about being married to her soulmate who serves in the Army.

Lionel Richie said it was fantastic. Lionel said he has always marveled at vocal control. Katy Perry said Jurnee was a little birdy that sung so effortless. Katy believed that Jurnee has arrived. Luke Bryan joked to make it look tougher as the judges get jealous. All the judges sent her to Hollywood.

Performing as Jurnee Manley at the time, the Colorado teenager auditioned for FOX’s final season of Idol in 2016 and earned a golden ticket. She has also performed with the Moses Jone Band, a corporate and wedding band based in Colorado.
