In the last Voice battle of the night, Jaclyn Lovey and Britton Buchanan teamed up for a fantastic cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.” Alicia Keys chose Britton as the winner. Alicia said Britton was far better than any rehearsal. Alicia said she is a fan of Jaclyn’s voice in that she makes people feel that there is a sweetness in the world.

Adam Levine said Britton is such a badass. Adam noted that Jaclyn’s performance was sweet. He thought both did a really great job. Blake Shelton said their singing and performance is timeless. Kelly Clarkson noted that Britton is an insane vocalist but that everyone is underestimating Jaclyn. Kelly said she would be stealing Jaclyn if she had a steal and Jaclyn was up for grabs.

As a homeschooler, Jaclyn has always been able to focus on her passions of dancing and singing while being surrounded by the support of her community. At 11, Jaclyn’s family took an RV trip to Nashville, where she recorded her first original song. The Placerville, California, community has financially supported Jaclyn in recording her first EP, taking ballet lessons and providing a piano. Performing on “The Voice,” which was once only a dream, is now a reality.

Growing up, Britton preferred picking flowers in the outfield to actually playing the game. He left sports behind and followed his intuition toward guitar and musical theater. Britton’s parents introduced him to ’70s and ’80s rock and folk music, and he joined a classic rock band when he was 13. A year later, he won a songwriting contest that gave him the opportunity to record with renowned engineer John Davenport, whose credits include Robert Palmer’s album “Riptide” and Bruce Springsteen’s album “Born in the U.S.A.” Britton is now embarking on his solo career as a musical artist.
