The Voice: Jorge Eduardo Gives Fun Rendition Of Miguel’s ‘Adorn’ But Loses Knockout Round

On The Voice, Jorge Eduardo completely owned “Adorn” by Miguel for his knockout performance. Alexa Cappelli came out and delivered a strong cover of Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” for her knockout performance. Kelly Clarkson said she loved Jorge and that it is so cool how he changes things up. Kelly said Alexa picked a song with a hard melody.

Kelly picked Alexa as the winner of the knockout round.

Alicia Keys said Jorge came out and gave it all the energy he had. Alicia said Alexa has a powerful and that she made it feel effortless. Adam Levine said Jorge picked a good song for him. Adam said Alexa has everything it takes to be an incredible singer. Blake Shelton said Jorge gets an undeniable reaction. Blake said Alexa has an unusual voice and that she has a powerful voice.

Alexa may only be in high school, but she has already made a huge impact on her community through music. Alexa’s younger brother passed away from Hypoplastic left heart syndrome when he was just 32 hours old, and her family created a non-profit organization in his memory to provide essentials for families with seriously ill children. Alexa acts as the entertainment coordinator for the foundation and always incorporates music into the events. She is excited to audition in front of her idol, Kelly.

Jorge grew up in Guadalajara with a Latin Grammy-nominated mariachi father and musical mother. Jorge is no stranger to “The Voice” franchise; he received a four-chair turn on Mexico’s “La Voz” and made it to the final four on J Balvin’s team. Following this success, Jorge moved to Texas, where he performs as a wedding and event singer. Jorge also began teaching himself recording software so he can record his own music independently. He hopes to make “The Voice” (U.S.) his American dream.

The four-time Emmy Award-winning “The Voice” returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the blockbuster vocal competition show’s new season. Superstar singer-songwriter Clarkson makes her debut as a coach this season, with Season 12-winning coach and musical icon Keys taking a red chair alongside the show’s returning coaches, Levine and Shelton, and host Carson Daly.

At the end of the battle rounds, only the strongest members of each coach’s roster remain and proceed to the knockout rounds. Here, the artists will be paired against a teammate once more, but this time they will select their own songs to perform individually while their direct competitor watches and waits. They are vying for their coach’s confidence and decision to take them to the final and crucial round before the live shows, the playoffs.
