On American Idol, Marcio Donaldson gives amazing cover of “Inseparable” by Natalie Cole for his Top 24 Solo performance in front of a live audience and Judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie on American Idol. Marcio’s performance impressed all the judges who ended up giving him a hug. Marcio broke down in crying at the end of his rendition.

Lionel Richie said he chose a song and that his son was watching him in that song. Lionel said Marcio has every right to stand tall because of that performance. Katy Perry said she loved him so much and that she sees him. Katy was impressed and proud of Marcio. Katy noted that he is growing by leaps and bounds. Katy noted that his song choices are the most perfect ones. Katy told him to continue to believe in himself. Luke Bryan said to see Lionel so fired up is so inspiring. Luke called him a survivor because he keeps surviving this competition. Luke said he delivered a world-class performance.
