CONVERT PAPERMASTER TO PDF

Does anyone know of a software that can export Paper Master 98 “Cab. If your system supports it, the Paper Master Export Utility can convert. I have to keep medical records for 21 years. I talked to Vixelsoft who can convert from the old Papermaster 3. When used over the network our Papermaster 7. After years of scanning into papermaster, we now want to move on and export all our files to a new program, or just use the simple windows folder structure of filing.

Papermaster 98 runs great on XP. Some people also say that getting away from proprietary software may be better. Hidden in the papermaster file folders somewhere? It wii be a great help. The Wacom Intuos Pro is a workflow-boosting machine.

The user and notes feature are a good idea.

All works OK except that XP insists on using the windows default driver for my scanner rather than the Pm Twain Driver which is better in many ways. So I’m stuck, with thousands of records and thus must maintain XP.! I recently installed it on a Windows 7 machine and all appeared to work well until I created a new folder for some scanning, it would not create the folder.

It does not install the printer but otherwise works fine. Im not wanting any new whistles and bells — just to have Papermaster work with Vista. Sorry, your blog cannot share posts by email.

A reader tells me that PaperMasterthe once great scanning and file saving software, is no longer available.

I am very sad for the product termination, but PDF format will be better than multipage tiff for future survivability of the data. Please let me know directly in addition to this blog.

Has anyone successfully used a low end flatbed scanner for publication work. I am not happy with the papermaster tech support and their lack of tools and response but if this carries on I will switch to another program. However, if a document was important Has anyone found a work around such as running in compatibility mode or tweaking something???

I found them unhelpful in my efforts to review earlier versions of the software, and this blog has been something of a gathering point for disgruntled users.

A sad end to what was once—and for many still is—the best program for scanning documents into folders where you can easily find them again. Please do not waste my future time frustrations if the newer program does not perform as it declares. Anyone know where they could be? After each scanning session, I count the number of new pages and add them to the prior count and make sure the back-up contains the same number of documents.

All the data is stored in tiff format even though the files have no extensions. I also downloaded a supposedly cracked copy of Papermaster Pro V7 only to find that the RAR was password protected and the server where the PW was stored no longer exsisted.

The PaperMaster Export Utility finds all of the files in your PaperMaster cabinets and copies them into a new cabinet under exactly the same drawer and folder names as the PaperMaster cabinet. I have PaperMaster 98 but it not work fine in XP. Please do not use PM pro we have and are sorry having done it.

The Return Of PaperMaster Pro

Well that was 4 months ago and still no patch to make it work. Forum Parent First Previous Next. But its been like pushing water uphill eversince. I am disappointed to learn PM Pro did such a lousy job of upgrading the features.

The technical support is very poor to non-existent. Best cameras and lenses Has anybody come across any solutions to replace it?? I am using PaperMaster Pro and have scanned about pages. But…none of the files in the inbox were there!

What would you do??? Since there has been no update or patches, we are moving on. Our company has been using Papermaster 98 since it started and have been scanning all our documents into that program!

How is that done? I contacted Papermaster J2 Comunications to see if there was a Vista commpatable version of Papermaster. What things are you thinking about? They have an inbuilt Papermaster EFX files converter!! Cheers, Brian Sydney, Australia bdh1. Saving a backup cab, or even a drawer is as easy as copying the appropriate folder on the PC.

Pricing is in the same ballpark as PM.
